We make things. Better.

What’s new at C&C Fabrications in 2026?

Chris Wallage, 12 March 2026

We can’t believe it’s March already. We’ve been non-stop busy on the shop floor creating bespoke projects from Poster Frames and Furniture to Platforms and Mezzanine floors – and that momentum hasn’t slowed.

This is coming off the back of a positive 2025 with 2026 set to be even better

With this comes the need to evolve and keep up with demands. Our customers have high expectations around precision, speed, sustainability and capability.

For us at C&C, it means continuing to invest – not just in machinery, but in people, technology and the way we deliver projects. And in our 30th year, it feels like the right time to build for the next 30.

The investments we make this year will support our growth and expand our potential.

Trends have come and gone over the years but the one that always remains is investing in machinery that makes life easier.

That’s why we’ve invested in factory upgrades – with new machines across welding, spray painting, sheet manipulation and tube bending.

Here’s what that means for you.

A Higher-Quality Steel Finish

In 2026, finish quality is often what differentiates good from exceptional. Clients want flawless powder coating, consistent polish, and durable finishes that stand the test of time.

To make sure our polishing finish was the best it could be, we upgraded recently to the NS ML-100 planetary tube finishing machine. Stainless steel tubes no longer need to be rotated which enables high-quality finishes on both bent and curved areas.

All this means that we can provide a superior aesthetic finish with greater coating consistency and improved durability.

More Control in Powder Coating

We invested in the new Wagner Sprint powder coating spray guns in February as well – giving the team more precision and reliability. Better spray guns mean an increased variety of paints and surfaces can be painted. Colleagues on the shop floor have better manoeuvrability meaning with more complex jobs, the powder coats evenly.

This improvement has allowed for a smoother process with a more reliable result.

Further investments: Precision that Pushes Possibility

Our new investments come hot off the back of installing a new press brake machine in September 2025. As projects become more detailed and tolerances tighter, precision is critical.

The new ByBend Smart 160/3100 press brake from Bystronic took us to a whole new level. We’ve transformed our precision and accuracy across air bending, coining and 3-point bending. Intelligent on-screen programming has optimised the bending process using the appropriate tools. Our staff have been trained to use the ByBend Smart, increasing their knowledge and understanding of what’s possible. We’ve also been able to reduce set-up time and material waste meaning we can focus on getting the job done.

For our customers this means improved dimensional accuracy, reduced rework and better-quality control across every project. Earlier this month we invested in new welding machines with the Jasic 350CT. This investment means more precision, easier to use with multiple settings and better environmental standards for the shop floor.

Automation in Tube Bending

Automation has been crucial to push steel fabrication technology forward. 2026 will be the year of automation.

That’s why we’re investing heavily in automated machinery across bending, finishing and welding. These upgrades allow us to programme complex jobs digitally, reduce downtime between changeovers and deliver consistent, high-quality results – even on bespoke projects.

In the case of tube bending, our biggest investment will mean automation is now at the forefront of our projects. In June 2026, we’ll be installing a new machine, which will allow shop-floor colleagues to programme exactly what is needed. This means state-of-the-art technology can bend fixed and variable radii without the need for a straight.

The new machine will decrease downtime between changes as it can be programmed using automation tools. Efficiency and accuracy will increase, reducing errors which can be costly to projects.

We’ll have clearer communication between design and production, meaning we have the confidence to push boundaries with more complex designs.

Investing in people, not just machines

Technology alone doesn’t deliver results, people do.

Throughout 2026, we’re continuing to prioritise staff training, upskilling across digital programming and automation as well as improving shop-floor efficiency.

For customers, that translates to a team that understands modern fabrication, not just traditional methods.

These significant investments speak to our dedication to staying competitive. Our new machines will allow us to take on more bespoke projects and reduce the need for outsourcing. Businesses that invest now, will be the ones delivering higher standards, greater capability and long-term reliability.

Building the Next 30 Years

Thirty years in business has taught us that trends will come and go. The constant is progress.

These investments aren’t short-term upgrades. They’re part of a long-term strategy.

As we celebrate our 30th year, we’re focused firmly on the future – smarter technology, skilled people and raising the standard of what steel fabrication can achieve.
