What is your name and role at C&C?
I’m Chris Taylor, and I’m the Finance & Operations Director.
What do C&C offer?
We’re a one-stop-shop that provide design, consultancy and fabrication right through to an end product, including laser cutting and powder coating.
How long have you worked with us and how did you get into the industry?
I’ve worked at C&C for 19 years. My stepfather was a director here and he invited me in to work on the shop floor, and I’ve worked my way up (doing every job except welding and fabrication) before I reached my current role as part of our senior leadership team. When I started there were only five members of staff, now we have 31!
What’s C&C’s secret to being successful?
I’d say it’s our commitment to investing in our services. We’ve tried to move with the times, investing in press brakes, powder coating facilities and a laser cutter to help us stay ahead of the game.
In your own words, what is C&C Fabrications?
We’re based in West Yorkshire and we’re a steel fabrication company that offer fabrication services to businesses across the country.
Why do customers choose to work with C&C?
I’d say they choose us for our reliability. If we say we’re going to meet a deadline, we will or we will keep them informed and let them know why we haven’t been able to meet that target. As we’re a one-stop-shop we have control over the whole process and can manage it efficiently, without relying on outsourcing, to take the pressure and stress away from our customers.
